About Beth Gryczewski, NAIS Teacher of the Future 2013-2014
A life-long learner and passionate about History, I am a Middle School History teacher. Teaching multiple levels in middle school gives me the opportunity to teach, literally, every era in History: Ancient, Medieval and American. My love of History keeps me up to date on all the other issues that I don't get to teach: Modern World, Latin American, Cold War and African history.
Teaching independent thought and critical thinking are essential to my educational philosophy. It is important for students to become independent learners...
